Real Estate Development and Construction

CEDC’s Real Estate Development and Construction Division has built or rehabilitated more than 1,375 rental and for-sale homes, opening the doors to affordable, quality homes throughout Ventura and Santa Barbara counties.

Property and Asset Management

CEDC’s goal is to meet the high demand for safe, decent and affordable homes for families and the senior community. Our Property and Asset Management Division supports this effort by professionally managing our rental homes communities while offering quality living at its best. In total, our Property and Asset Management Division manages more than 1,300 affordable rental homes across 17 properties (as of May 2010).

NeighborWorks® HomeOwnership Center

The NeighborWorks® HomeOwnership Center (HOC) was established by

CEDC to assist the greater Ventura community in purchasing and retaining homes.

Launched on a smaller scale in 1998, the HOC extended its services countywide in September 2001 when it joined the NeighborWorks® Network run by Neighborhood Reinvestment Corporation, now known as NeighborWorks® America, a national intermediary serving community development corporations.
